Program Description: This CME activity consists of a printed newsletter followed by an online post-test. Estimated time to complete this activity, including review of materials is 1 hour.
Requirements for Participation and Credit
In order to receive CME credit, participants must have read the printed newsletter material, complete the post-test and pass with at least 70% correct, and complete the evaluation form.
There are no fees for participating in or receiving credit for this online educational activity. For information on applicability and acceptance of continuing education credit for this activity, please consult your professional licensing board.

To continue our mission to improve the quality of preventive cardiovascular care through a newsletter that provides late breaking science and information on cardiovascular prevention.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- improve his or her knowledge of lifestyle and pharmacotherapy related to
lowering CVD risk and optimizing health.
- learn about the newly updated cardiovascular disease prevention guidelines for women released in 2007.
