Ohannes A. Nercessian, MD, specializes in treating patients with hip and knee problems, including traumatic injuries. His research interests focus on the use of allografts in complex revision operations to the hip and knee, failed surgeries on these joints that involve significant bone loss, and factors that contribute to post-operative complications following total hip arthroplasty. He is the author of more than 60 scientific articles and has been a visiting professor at many national and international medical institutions. A preeminent scholar, Dr. Nercessian is a member of all the leading scientific and professional organizations in his field, including the American College of Surgeons.
