
Jeffrey A. Geller, MD, specializes in arthritic disorders of the hip and knee. He has extensive training in joint replacements and performs surgery using some of the latest and most advanced minimally invasive techniques. These procedures include partial knee replacements, female specific knee replacements, hip resurfacing as well as minimally invasive hip and knee replacements. Dr. Geller performs both primary joint replacement surgery and revisions of failed joint replacements, but only after considering all non-operative treatment options. He also specializes in trauma of the lower extremity including hip fractures, fractures around joint replacements and fractures related to osteoporosis. Dr. Geller is actively involved in orthopedic research and education. Currently, he is conducting several large-scale research projects in some of the most advanced and relevant topics in joint reconstruction. In addition to teaching medical students and residents, he lectures at national orthopaedic conferences and has authored many textbook chapters and peer-reviewed articles.
